Our opinion
Most of us want that coffee with full flavor once but this is never the case because when beans are ground, they begin to oxidize. Old pre-ground coffee has a tendency to taste bitter, and with the proliferation of inexpensive grinders, more and more people are buying whole bean coffee to grind right before they brew.
Of course, finding the RIGHT grinder for the price is the tough part. Grinders exist in every form, size and cost bracket. Quite a lot of round, domed grinders we’ve seen have unsharpened blades on a mount that is too high to really grind beans fine enough for specialty coffee like espresso or Turkish. The Ovente Coffee Grinder has some advantages such as sharp and well mounted blades.
This grinder is perfect for anybody with a coffee maker that uses paper cone filters. I emphasize paper because it works best with paper filters than permanent filters. Like any blade grinder, it will produce some dust that creeps through the permanent filter and into your pot and makes sludge but then nothing gets through paper filters though.
