Pre-built gaming PCs are slowly replacing the thrill of building your own rig, and they’re bound to get popular as PC parts creep up in price. The CyberPowerPC Gamer Master GMA2900A is one such gaming PC that can be hard for a fairly affordable price, but building a PC with matching hardware will not be feasible.
With an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor and Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti graphics card, it isn’t the most powerful PC around to compete with the likes of the Corsair Vengeance i8200, but it plays games well enough, especially if you’re willing to stick to 1080p. We can’t find any fault with this entry-level gaming machine – its price is right, and its gaming performance is superb.

Design & Features
The Master GMA2900A is a no-frills PC. Its exterior alone screams “gamer,” meaning it’s a gaming machine through and through. It scores nearly full marks on aesthetics, and no, not just because of its charming ARGB – the exclusive Prism 360V case goes beyond just LEDs to provide a spacious chassis to work with should you upgrade a few components here and there.
Well, regardless of whether you like the RGB galore, in this case, the whole package is drop-gorgeous. Its mid-tier chassis is all black with sharp edges, and the interior is spacious and very neatly arranged. The interior components are visible through a tempered glass side panel with the gorgeous 120mm RGB LEDS.
The front of the chassis has a CyberPowerPC logo at the bottom, just below an LED strip; most of the glass is the same shadowy glass as the side panel and part of the top panel is a dust filter with easy front access ports. While it’s gorgeously designed, the CyberPowerPC Gamer Master GMA2900A is huge, but that gives you some leverage should you decide to rack in some additional components in the future.
As for ports…there’s a really impressive selection both at the top and back of the chassis: 5 x USB 3.1, 4 x USB 2.0, 1 x LAN 1G, and 1 x HDMI and 2 x DisplayPort on the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card.
Gaming & Graphics performance
Under the hood, the Gamer Master GMA2900A boasts AMD’s Ryzen 7 8700F processor, Nvidia’s RTX 4060 Ti graphics card, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. This configuration is pretty at this price point, especially among pre-builts from CyberPowerPC, SkyTech, or iBuyPower, but a similar machine from, let’s say, HP or Lenovo will cost almost twice as much.
As specced, the Master GMA2900A is ready for mainstream 1080p gaming and content creation since the Ryzen 7 can drive creator apps, and the RTX 4060 Ti is ready for modern titles and is VR Ready, meaning it can drive the HTC VIVE and Oculus Rift.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is a mid-range desktop GPU in the Ada-Lovelace lineup and combines 4,352 CUDA cores with 8GB DDR6 to deliver steady gameplay across the range. The RTX 4060 Ti plays Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 2560 x 1440 resolution and still maintains over 121 fps, but it drops to around 58 fps in 4K resolution.
The Gamer Master’s competition includes the Alienware Aurora R16 with an intel Core I7-14700F processor and RTX 4060 Ti GPU and the iBuyPower Trace Mesh with a Core i7-1400F chip and RTX 4060 Ti graphics card. The Master GMA2900A is the cheapest in that category, costing just under a grand, and you can always find it on sale.
The similar load-outs of these machines translate to similar results in benchmark tests, where the Master GMA2900A was rarely more than a few frames per second (fps) above or below the iBuyPower and the Alienware.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider (Ultra detail preset), the CyberPowerPC’s 184 fps at 1080p is within one fps of the others. All machines tie with 58 fps at 4K.
Far Cry 6 (Ultra) registers similarly close results, the Gamer Master GMA2900A averaging 161 fps at 1080p, but the iBuyPower fares better with 183fps, but all deliver around 41fps in 4K.
On Cyberpunk 2077 (Ray Tracing Ultra) is a tough game to run, but the Master GMA2900A still manages around 57 fps at 1080p and just over 22 fps at 4K. The CyberpowerPC doesn’t stand out, but neither does any of the others.
Productivity & Everyday Use
With the AMD Ryzen 7 8700F, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD storage, the Gamer Master is a productivity workhorse and is more than usable for content creation and can handle some light video editing. Plus, the spacious case design makes for a good productivity machine that will fit on a small desk, provided you can look beyond the RGB lighting on the case.
Overall, the Gamer Master GMA2900A is an undeniably powerful machine, and the fact that it comes in a compact design makes it a great choice for most users, and it will not have to pay a premium for the privilege. If you need something nice looking and great at both gaming and productivity, then this is the ideal system.

CyberPowerPC’s Gamer Master GMA2900A is a solid value for gamers seeking a budget-friendly desktop. Equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F and a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, it promises solid 1080p performance. We are also impressed by its timeless Prism 360V case, quiet RGB fans, aftermarket upgradability, and robust lighting controls.
Next to the competition, CyberPowerPC Gamer Master GMA2900A provides better value than most similarly priced gaming PCs from mainstream brands like HP and Lenovo; it also features standardized parts for superior upgradability. It’s quieter than the MSI Codex R2 and less expensive than the Alienware Aurora R16.
Overall, the CyberPowerPC Gamer Master GMA2900A is an impressive all-around gaming PC if you’re looking to buy your budget gaming PC pre-built.
