The Asus ROG G13CH is compact, looks sleek, and feels premium. It’s one of those portable gaming desktops that you can move around easily or carry around to a tournament without needing an extra hand; which isn’t the case with most mid-tower gaming PC. It measures ‎7.09 x 16.93 x 16.85 inches and weighs 27 pounds, not so heavy to move around at all.
The G13CH-PS764 can only be oriented upright to facilitate seamless airflow. Rubber feet underline the PC’s underside, and the system’s bottom-heavy weight makes it difficult to tip over accidentally. The top and right sides are perforated for air intake. The graphics card and other internal components are just visible behind the transparent glass side, with a subtle RGB strip under the card that adds extra gamer style.
The compact size does bring along a few drawbacks, namely, port selection. The system has a total of four USB 2.0 and four USB 3.2 ports, one DisplayPort, and two HDMI ports. Two of those USB 3.2 ports are located on the front top panel for easy access, but in this era of Thunderbolt 4 and USB4, the port variety is underwhelming, considering that this kind of system would rely heavily on speed external storage. There’s also an Ethernet port, which is supplemented by Wi-Fi 6E for fast wireless connectivity.
Gaming Performance

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider (Ultra detail preset), the Asus G13CH-PS764’s 144 fps at 1080p is within one fps of the others. All machines tie with 37 fps at 4K.
Far Cry 6 (Ultra) registers similarly close results, the ROG G13CH averaging 121 fps at 1080p, but the CyberpowerPC fares better with 143fps, but all deliver around 41fps in 4K.
Cyberpunk 2077 (Ray Tracing Ultra) is a tough game to run, but the Asus G13CH still manages around 37 fps at 1080p and just over 12 fps at 4K. The Skytech doesn’t stand out, but neither does any of the others.
Fan noise is a slight issue on the ROG G13CH. The two fans on the CPU radiator are the culprit here, as their small diameter means they must spin relatively fast to create airflow. They have a constant drone and never shut off (unless the system is off). Gaming or taxing the CPU dramatically spiked the fan noise, but they won’t make gaming unbearable at all.
Everyday Use
With the Intel Core i7-13700F, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD storage, the is a powerful PC and is more than usable for content creation, and can handle some light video editing. Plus, the small case design makes for a good productivity machine that will fit on a small desk, provided you can look beyond the RGB lighting on the case.
Overall, the Asus ROG G13CH is an undeniably powerful machine, and the fact that it comes in a compact design makes it a great choice for most users, but it will not have you pay a premium for the privilege. If you need something compact, nice looking, and great at both gaming and productivity, then this is the ideal system.

The Asus ROG G13CH excites on paper, thrills in gaming, and is a reliable productivity workhorse. It proved an exceptional performer holding its own against much larger towers in both gaming and productivity. We also appreciate the quality and style of its case.
The only downside is the lack of at least a USB-C port and fan noise. The system gets a little loud under load, but it’s not a deal-breaker at all. However, considering that Corsair no longer produces its One series gaming desktops, the ROG G13CH remains one of the few precious compact desktops offering big tower performance. And for gaming with the fewest compromises, this mid-tower appears as the way to go.
If you want something smaller than a mid-tower but with gaming performance to rival big chassis gaming machines, the Asus ROG G13CH-PS764 is a solid performer.
