The CyberpowerPC Gamer Master GMA2700A is a mid-size, flashy gaming PC with a very reachable price tag and one of the best gaming PCs you can buy right now for playing games at 1080p and 1440p.
Our review unit packs an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 (8GB) graphics card, 16GB RAM, and 500GB NVMe SSD storage. While these components don’t have the muscle to compete with some of the best gaming PCs, the system plays games well enough, especially if you’re willing to adjust settings.
But most importantly, you’re getting a premium chassis, stellar cable management, and a guarantee that this is a computer you can grow with. When you’ll need to spend more money or upgrade yourself, this case has nothing proprietary, you can throw in more RAM, storage, and even pretty everything else to make it more powerful.

Design of the CyberpowerPC GMA2700A
CyberpowerPC’s Master GMA2700A is, in many ways, a nice-looking mid-tower, though it’s compact enough to fit on most desks. The chassis is a black metallic box with glass on the front to showcase your RGB fans and a tempered glass side panel to show off the beautiful internals and cable work.
At 23.23 x 22.09 x 13.43 inches and weighing 34.7 pounds, the Gamer Master is fairly compact. The Alienware Aurora R15, newly redesigned to be a more conventional size, is 20.83 x 8.86 x 20.08 inches, slightly smaller. To access the system’s internal components, you need to remove the transparent side panel that’s held in place by thumbscrews, and you’re done.
Port selection is decent, but not excellent since the machine lacks a USB Type-C port that’s becoming standard in both laptops and desktop PCs. Front access ports are located on the top of the machine, they include two USB Type-A ports, microphone jacks, a headphone jack, a power button, a reset button, and a drive activity light-up.
Around the back, there are an additional six USB ports, two legacy PS/2 ports for older mice/keyboards, and audio jacks. On the GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, there are DisplayPort and HDMI connections for multi-monitor setups.
Gaming Performance
Our CyberpowerPC Gamer Master GMA2700A desktop has an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 processor, an 8GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and 500GB SSD. It’s well-equipped for mainstream gaming and content creation. The RTX 4060 GPU plays Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 2560 x 1440 resolution and still maintains over 92 fps, but it drops to around 46 fps in 4K resolution.
The Gamer Master’s competition includes the iBuyPower SlateMeshA5N4601 with an AMD Ryzen 5 and the Skytech Shadow with an AMD Ryzen 7; both have an RTX 4060 like our CyberpowerPC but come with double the storage. The Master GMA2700A is the cheapest in that category, costing just under $1000, and you can always find it on sale.
The similar load-outs of these machines translate to similar results in benchmark tests, where the Master GMA2700A was rarely more than a few frames per second (fps) above or below the iBuyPower and the Skytech.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider (Ultra detail preset), the CyberPowerPC’s 144 fps at 1080p is within one fps of the others. All machines tie with 37 fps at 4K.
Far Cry 6 (Ultra) registers similarly close results, the Gamer Master GMA2700A averaging 121 fps at 1080p, but the iBuyPower fares better with 143fps, but all deliver around 41fps in 4K.
Cyberpunk 2077 (Ray Tracing Ultra) is a tough game to run, but the Master GMA2700A still manages around 37 fps at 1080p and just over 12 fps at 4K. The CyberpowerPC doesn’t stand out, but neither does any of the others.
Productivity performance
With the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 processor, 16GB RAM, and 500GB SSD storage, the Gamer Master GMA2700A makes for a solid productivity machine that will run most of your content creation tasks with ease. But I wouldn’t bank on it handling heavy creative or editing projects, and it will not look great at the office.
If you need something for gaming and productivity, there are lots of alternatives out there, including the Dell XPS 8960, which comes with an RTX 4070 GPU, a powerful Core i9 CPU, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD storage.
However, while the GMA2700A delivers solid gaming and productivity performance, the 500GB SSD storage is a little light to work on, and being a gaming PC, at least 1TB storage would be ideal – competitors are offering 1TB storage options for around the same price. You can always upgrade the storage options, and I believe that’s one area CyberpowerPC cut corners to deliver this workable gaming PC at a very affordable price.
Should you buy the CyberpowerPC GMA2700A?
In a lot of ways, I think the CyberpowerPC Gamer Master GMA2700A is a decent first gaming PC for someone just getting into the hobby.
You can get one like our review unit without spending too much, and you’ll still enjoy the brawn of an RTX 4060 in a sleek, well-crafted case that lights up and looks good on a desk. The case itself is easy to open when you’re ready to try your hand at an upgrade (more RAM and storage would be a good start), but even if you never upgrade it, this PC has enough power to play the latest games at good framerates for years to come. Plus, it arrives meticulously packaged with a serviceable mouse and keyboard in a single box that’s easy to open.
But if you’re looking for more power out of a prebuilt gaming PC, you’ll likely be better off saving up a bit more and splurging on a slightly pricier rig like the CyberpowerPC Gamer GXiVR8620A4 (Intel Core i9-14900KF, RTX 4080). That way lies true 4K PC gaming greatness.
If your budget can’t stretch that much, the CyberpowerPC GXiVR8080A36 is another great affordable alternative with better gaming and productivity performance.
