The CybertronPC Borg-Q GM4213B is an entry-level gaming desktop with some room to grow. It’s a great choice for the novice player or the veteran gamer who wants to play older games. It packs a fast AMD FX-4130 processor, 8GB RAM, 1 TB hard drive, 450-watt power supply, and NVIDIA GT610 graphics card that are OK for stellar gaming performance backed by a solid build and an amazing look with its LED lights inside.
The relatively low price might be deceiving at first, but don’t worry about the same, the price doesn’t compromise performance as the system still offers decent gaming performance for a desktop in its class. That said, a few drawbacks hold it back from a spot in our Best Gaming PCs list.

Design
Cybertron PC presents an array of solid and stable platforms for multimedia, gaming, and daily computing, just like the mid-range gaming desktop leader the Lenovo X315 Gaming Desktop, which offers more advanced features at almost the same price range. The Borg weighs 27 pounds and measures 19.50 by 7.75 by 17.50 inches (HWD). With the signature LED lights switched on, the case looks nice and current, but I am yet to be sure if that would be consuming extra power.
Gaming can really make a machine hot, luckily the Borg comes with lots of ventilation (there is also a fan on the side), but the ventilation may be culprits of dust and particles, though it can be opened up and cleaned since the internal components are nicely organized. It comes with a Logitech keyboard and mouse as seen in the photo-no surprises!
Connectivity on the CybertronPC Borg-Q GM4213B is much the same as most entry-level desktop PCs without any modern tweaks. Basically, it gets you connected, nothing more. It has 24X DVD±RW Dual-Layer Drive optical drive, Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 with an RJ-45, 7.1 Channel Audio, 1 x VGA port, 1 x HDMI port, 4 x USB 3.0 ports, 4x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x DVI, 3 expansion slot (2 of them free), keyboard and mouse. For wireless connectivity, you need to get a 300 MB/S wireless adapter (costs about $10) and a Bluetooth USB dongle to wirelessly connect to other Bluetooth-enabled devices (costs a few dollars).
Performance
On the CybertronPC Borg-Q GM4213B is a powerful quad-core AMD FX-4130 processor that clocks speeds of 3.80GHz, AMD 760G Chipset which is ready to handle most of the advanced games, a generous 8GB DDR3 for easier multitasking (you can still add more memory), enough 1TB Serial ATA-300 hard drive (7200 rpm), which is enough for storing movies, games, songs, and photos and 64-bit Windows 8.1 operating system.
The system gives you great visuals when dashing through games, watching movies, or fixing multimedia projects, though the CyberpowerPC Zeus Mini ZMi700A does deliver stable performance in the same category.
The CybertronPC Borg-Q GM4213B is meant for casual gamers although it can still pull through a couple of modern games without breaking a sweat. It is powered by the NVIDIA GeForce GT610 graphics card which is definitely not among the most powerful graphics card so far, but for medium-range games, it is good enough.
In case you’re after a powerful gaming desktop PC with something like NVIDIA GTX, you may need more on the card, but the GT610 is just fine for what you’re paying for this desktop PC. You can play games like Minecraft and Farming Sim 2013 at higher settings comfortably. Nevertheless, it delivers very good quality images in terms of clarity, colors are more vibrant, and in case you need better graphics the card isn’t difficult to replace at all.
Verdict
The CybertronPC Borg-Q GM4213B is a fast and powerful gaming desktop, with specs and features that are way ahead of its price range. It has a great design, even though the plastic case is off the game, but the LED lights shed off the flaw coupled with a fast processor, large amounts of memory, and enough storage space. The system is easy to open and upgrade considering that the case is easy to open.
As with many gamers, the urge to get better gaming performance is always there, and on the CybertronPC Borg-Q, some tweaks such as video card upgrades will be necessary. The CyberpowerPC Gamer GXiVR8060A11 remains our Editors’ Choice for gaming midrange pre-built gaming desktops, delivering solid performance at a very reasonable price.
