The MZEIBO TV Sound Bar is a masterclass in doing more for less. It’s less than 33 inches wide when both units are paired, so it doesn’t naturally suit large TVs, but it can be installed in three orientations to meet your living room setup. It lacks advanced features like voice controls and Dolby Atmos – but despite all this, it starts to impress as soon as you take it out of the box.
Plus, there’s a reason for the lack of those premium extras: it’s super cheap. In fact, it costs under $120 (and you can find it for almost half that on a sale), meaning it’s one of the best cheap soundbars you can buy, especially unlike most sub$-150 models, it comes in a stylish design and delivers immersive sound.
We have seen budget sound bars from Vizio and Creative Stage, but they never get this affordable while delivering solid audio quality at a friendly price. Once again, it’s not the best soundbar you can buy, it doesn’t attempt to sound like the Samsung HW-Q990C , but for what you’re paying this is a simple, solid investment into a movie night.

Here are the specifications of the soundbar in this review:
- Speakers: 4 x full-range drivers
- Ports: 3.5mm aux in, optical in, DCIN, HDMI

If you’re hunting for this soundbar out in the wild or online, you’ll see several models with the same name. On MZEIBO’s website and on the product box, you’ll differentiate it for the split feature, meaning the soundbar can be set up in two modes – Long soundbar and soundbar, whereas all the other models come in single units.
What We Like
It certainly looks cool and premium
In this price range, you just don’t expect anything breathtaking from a design point of view – but for soundbars, that’s never a bad thing. If you’re hoping for a soundbar that’s affordable but will blend well into your entertainment center or beneath your TV, this MZEIBO TV soundbar fits the bill.
The company steered clear of the silver/metal design of premium soundbar/subwoofer combos; instead opted for a plain look but it still looks fine. It’s all black and dark grey. The only silver trim is in the middle, which is the section where the two units merge when you opt for a long soundbar orientation.
In my view, this is one of the fine-looking budget soundbars. If your living room isn’t exactly a picture of finery, this soundbar will fit perfectly, blending well into any AV setup. The whole system provides its audio furnishings without really disrupting the visual look and vibe of your living space.
It’s easy to setup out of the box
Another thing to like about this affordable soundbar is how simple it is. The soundbar comes pre-paired out of the box, so all you have to do is plug both soundbars into a power source and you’re good to go. If you need to use the soundbar in “Long Soundbar” mode, you just align and merge the two sections, twist into place and you’re done – it really couldn’t be simpler.
On the rear of the soundbar, you’ll find generous indents for connecting the power cable. Then. It’s as easy as running the included HDMI cable from the bar to your TV. It comes with a simple, useful remote with all the common controls – power, sound mode selection, input selection, Bluetooth, and so on – but I don’t think you’ll be using them quite often. You can as well adjust bass and treble, as jump through inputs and sound modes.
It boasts great sound for the price
So, you’re now familiar with the MZEIBO TV Sound Bar: affordable, nice looking, and has basic features. Beyond that, this soundbar is the epitome of simplicity, from its user interface, and remote to controls. Where it truly shines (for what you’re paying) is in sound quality.
Just how useful you find this TV soundbar may depend on what kind of sound you’re upgrading from, but if you’re coming from a stock home theatre or speakers that are struggling with bass, this soundbar will prove to be a revelation. Not only are the 60W speakers much louder and clearer, overall, than most 2-channel sound plates, but its sound modes, and especially its bass presence are excellent, especially for this price range.
You’ll honestly be taken aback by its warm rumbling bass from the speakers, and you can throw about everything at it: action movies, comedies, TV show binges, music streaming over Bluetooth, and – of course – all genres of video games. The only issue is that sometimes the bass can be overwhelming and there’s no option to balance it as you could on a more expensive soundbar system.
Overall, the general perception is that in this price range, the sound quality is ok – MZEIBO nailed it. That’s especially true if you’re upgrading from stock TV speakers, you’re going to love the way this soundbar redefines the audio experience in your living room.
What We Don’t Like
It’s not very future-proof
We’ve reviewed soundbars like the Vizio M-Series Elevate which is not terribly expensive but offers some of the best forward-looking technologies out there including Dolby Atmos and rotating front drivers. However, the same can’t be said of the MZEIBO TV Sound Bar: it’s basic at best, it doesn’t include Dolby Atmos technology and lacks voice commands, meaning it won’t sync with Alexa or Siri, and that can be a bit limiting as more devices become smarter around the household.
While we didn’t expect to have such technologies at this price point, you must know what you’re buying and the limitations. After all, the MZEIBO TV Sound Bar is intended as a step-up-into-entry-level kind of soundbar, and if that’s where you’re at in your audio path, you should know a bit about what you’re not getting.
Still, the major lapse from an audiophile’s path, and the lack of any Dolby Atmos compatibility is a major omission. Even without upfiring or height-channel type of speakers, quite a few budget soundbars hitting the market are at least compatible – meaning they can utilize Dolby Atmos sound, even if they don’t have upfiring speakers.
Still, if this is your price range and level of interest, missing out on Dolby Atmos may not matter to you; and the closest alternative to Dolby Atmos is the Vizio M-Series All-in-One 2.1 (M213ad-K8), but it costs almost $100 more than our review unit.
Should you buy it?
Absolutely, if you want to redefine your TV audio.
There are certainly many great value-packed soundbars on the market this year, but the MZEIBO TV Sound Bar – at a very friendly price – may just be the value winner of 2024. While its design and specs are as humble as a blueberry pie by budget standards, it’s understandable that it’s only meant to elevate your TV’s stock audio presence.
The real charm is that it sounds really good for its price range, and might be easily one of the best-sounding ‘TV bars under $100’ you’ll buy this year. If you’ve been suffering your TV’s stock speakers for a while and have been hoping to upgrade without breaking the bank, the MZEIBO TV Sound Bar is money well spent. Check it out.
