In the market there may be many blenders and juicers, but there will always be only one NutriBullet NBR-1201. It denotes a new generation of compact blenders, whereby you can use the jug or cup as a receptacle to consume smoothies on the go or store them.
The main concept in the NutriBullet NBR-1201 design is all about getting the best out of your food. It has enough muscle to bust open seeds, chew through the hardest of stems and reduce tough skins into pulp thereby releasing the nutrition you’d otherwise not liberate through chewing alone.

Design and Features
The name says it all, it’s a “nutrition bullet” …maybe that’s what they mean by NutriBullet. It’s a small and small blender, that is set on a graphite-colored brushed metal base. Its bullet shaped, instead of metal the cups, handles and lids are made of plastic.
The NutriBullet NBR-1201 12-piece high-speed blender/mixer system has metallic-plastic construction helps make the blender quite light and portable. It measures 5.3-by-8.0 inches (diameter-height) and weighs just 3.6 lbs. This is really easy to move around, and the power cord is a generous 145 cm.
In the design, you no longer have buttons for switching it on, adjusting the speed or even setting the functions. The eschewed buttons result in a sleek exterior, that looks just awesome on your kitchen.
Instead, all you have to do to blend or grind is just screw on either the extractor or milling blades on to a large or small cup containing the ingredients, then, push the cup down into the base, switch it into place until the motor starts. Sit back and wait until everything is blended.
In blending, it uses NutriBullet’s ‘cyclone’ motion to help draw ingredients down towards the blades. To stop it, all you got to do is just untwist the cup.
Using the NutriBullet
As standard with NutriBullet models, included in the box is a quick-start guide, but it really does leave a few questions unanswered; but the full user guide gives guidelines on all you need to know about using the machine. The machine just works on a simple premise: each ‘Nutriblast’ as the recipes are called, consists of 50 per cent fruit, 50 per cent vegetables, optionally, you may add seeds or nuts and water.
Having done that, connect the blades to the large cup, pop onto the base unit and you’re seconds away from a delicious Nutriblast.
If you’re blending, for instance, a mixture of spinach and fruits, at first the spinach might stay at the top, but taking the cup off the base unit and giving it a slight will mix everything.
It just mixes evenly, you won’t even notice the separation, unlike most traditional mixers. If you’re into thick smoothies, there you have, but if you like thinner blends, it’s advisable to add water up to the maximum marker on the cup. The NutriBullet gives you countless possibilities, you can even use the small cup to grind some seeds.
Keep in mind that while the NutriBullet blender blades can be hand washed or rinsed immediately after use, they aren’t dishwater safe. Otherwise, the other parts are, or can be hand washed, making it quick and convenient to clean-up after use.
