proved to be one of our top picks for midrange gaming PCs. And with the SkyTech Blaze (ST-BLAZE4-1146-B-AM) it makes the gaming experience even better with the latest gaming components for a reasonable price.
The model we’re reviewing is part of the Blaze 4 Series and opts for some capable mainstream parts, including an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Super, 32GB of memory, and 2TB NVMe SSD storage and an 850W Gold ATX power supply. All these components are built around a smart, spacious case that doesn’t compromise cooling and performance.
The result is a pretty stylish, capable machine that can readily handle 1080p and 1440p gaming even with the settings maxed out. It’s not the most powerful gaming PC around that can compete with flagships like the Corsair Vengeance i8200 in playing modern titles in 4K, but it’s by far much more powerful than your typical entry-level gaming PC.
Even if you decided to build a gaming PC yourself, you really won’t save much to match what SkyTech Gaming asks for this system, and that makes the Blaze an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a capable eSports gamer that can handle creative tasks effortlessly.

Design & Features
The SkyTech gaming PC isn’t an off-the-shelf mainstream desktop. It is a boutique-build system, meaning you’re likely going to bump into the case and certain internal components in other competing systems. A major part of it is cut from standard parts that have aftermarket equivalents, the branding notwithstanding.
Most of the parts used here are aftermarket, to begin with, such as the casing, motherboard, and graphics card. The only allure of getting a prebuilt desktop from a system builder like SkyTech is, essentially, a product of the aftermarket that has been expertly assembled and covered by warranty. You never have to deal with individual part warranties, just a single destination in case you encounter issues along the way.
The black chassis gets a honeycomb mesh on the front panel that allows for some flair and allows for seamless airflow for cooling during intense gaming sessions. Behind the mesh are three RGB fans that are synced with Signal RGB, which lets you control all animated lighting effects and sync colors across the PC, and even set up a music visualizer via a single app.
There are easy access front ports, including two USB 3.0, one USB-C, and a headphone/mic combo, while the rest of the ports can be found at the back. Also bundled into the package are a SkyTech Gaming keyboard and mouse, but you’ll have to buy a gaming monitor; considering the RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU’s potential, pairing it with something like the 32-inch GIGABYTE M32UC (144Hz, 1ms curved) will make gameplay even more immersive.
Gaming & Graphics Performance
The Skytech Blaze 4 packs some really powerful muscle in it. The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super are well suited for playing AAA games and eSports at 1440p with a mix of high-quality graphics and fast frame rates. To make gameplay even more immersive, you can utilize Nvidia’s DLSS AI technology on supported games, especially if you’re aiming for 1440p or higher resolution.
Playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 3840 x 2160 at the Ray Tracing Ultra preset with DLSS frame generation, the Blaze 4 averages 80-87 fps indoors and low-92 fps outdoors. The game is highly playable and doesn’t suffer from any lagging or performance spikes.
Cyberpunk 2077 presents the biggest challenge to gaming PCs due to its extensive use of high-res textures, long draw distances, and extreme ray tracing effects in the Ultra RT mode. Still, the SkyTech Blaze can exceed 60 fps at 1080p for both its average and minimum frame rates, even without utilizing DLSS. Bumping to 1440p at the same settings, the system remains steady, which is not possible with most midrange gaming PC in the market.
The Skytech Blaze can take advantage of its CPU overclocking and upscaling technology to improve frame rates, and it supports DLSS AI, too. With the latter enabled, the Blaze 4 can exceed an average of 100fps at 1080p Ultra and 74fps at 1440p, which are both fantastic results.
With excellent performance in Cyberpunk 2077, there’s no doubt that the Skytech Blaze holds well in other games as well. Whether you’re gaming at 1080p or 1440p, the system performs well in Total War: Warhammer 3, maintaining 60fps and above at 1440p.
This means gamers could go for a 4K resolution on this system if they’re playing less graphically demanding games, or if they’re willing to tone down some settings or don’t mind playing a little under 60 fps. Most importantly, the performance from the Skytech Blaze 4 is consistent, with just a few variances between games.
Finally, with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (4.2 GHz, OC) and 32GB of RAM, the Skytech Blaze is well suited for real-world productivity and content-creation workflows. It will deliver stable performance for office-centric tasks, including word processing, spreadsheets, and web browsing, and if you’re a professional creative, you’ll easily get away with 3D modeling and media creation. Again, the 2TB SSD storage is enough to store and transfer files and games without needing to add more storage.
SkyTech Blaze Review: Verdict
The prebuilt gaming desktop is tough to compete in, but the Skytech Blaze 4 earns a top spot as one of the better values. For around two grand, it delivers an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and RTX 4070 Ti Super (16GB) for several hundred less than a Corsair Vengeance i7500 and is better than the CyberPowerPC Gamer GXiVR8080A36, especially for those buying for creative tasks in addition to solid gaming performance.
It has plenty of performance for mild 4K gaming and is overkill for 1080p. The desktop’s downsides include the use of Wi-Fi 6 instead of the latest Wi-Fi 7, which would make it future-proof, but that doesn’t seem to hurt its performance.
Overall, the Skytech Blaze 4 provides excellent value and earns our editors’ recommendation for a midrange gaming desktop. A Blaze isn’t cheap. But what you get for the price isn’t just the power to play games extremely well, but the comfort of knowing no corners have been cut or lack of creature comforts.
